- What do I need for a Chef Dave Event?
- Each event is different depending on your specific request, but typically the following is needed:
- 2 electric skillets
- 1 chef knife
- 1 cutting board
- 2 wooden spoons
- 2 medium bowls
- 4 dinner plates
- 1 bucket warm soapy water
- 2 hand towels
- 1 hands free microphone
- PowerPoint projector
- 2 chairs
- 1 6 ft table for book signing
- Large screen for power point presentation
- 1 volunteer to help with selling books
- Who buys the food for Chef Dave to prepare?
- We ask that the client do the grocery shopping before Chef Dave’s arrival. In most cases Chef Dave has not been to your city and has no idea where he is going when it comes to shopping. He will provide a shopping list one week before the event.
- Does Chef Dave make enough food for everyone to try?
- Due to time limits Chef Dave can only cook enough for about 15 people. It is suggested that you have a drawing or put a red dot under 15 chairs for those people that will be sampling the food. If you would prefer to feed everyone, typically Chef Dave recipes are provided to your caterer and the food can be set up in the back of the room. When Chef Dave begins signing books the food can be served to the guests. (Chef Dave likes this because it keeps people from getting board while waiting for a book.)
